Administered under controlled conditions by trained healthcare providers, certain mind-altering substances can facilitate introspection and lower inhibitions, allowing individuals to delve deeper into their thoughts and emotions during therapy sessions. We prioritize creating a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where people can openly share their experiences and challenges. Our sessions foster a sense of community, trust, and mutual respect among group members.

What to Expect

Our group sessions incorporate a blend of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential-humanistic methods, polyvagal theory, and mindfulness practices. These interventions are tailored to address the unique needs and goals of each participant while promoting mutual support and collective growth.

Groups are limited to 5-10 people. Each of the 6 session costs $100 per member.

Structured Sessions

Each of our six 90-minute sessions follows a structured format designed to maximize therapeutic benefits. You can expect:

  • Session Overviews: We begin with a brief overview of the session’s topic and objectives, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
  • Interactive Activities: Engage in interactive exercises and discussions that promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
  • Skill-Building: Learn and practice skills for self-regulation and coping, explore techniques for ‘Mapping Your Nervous System,’ and integrate mindfulness techniques to sustain movement towards your goals.
  • Group Discussions: Participate in open discussions where you can share insights, receive feedback, and connect with others facing similar challenges.
  • Personal Reflection: Dedicating time for personal reflection and journaling between sessions will help you to internalize what you’ve learned and apply it to daily life.

The six sessions are designed around the ASCENT framework:

Address Needs:

Identify and prioritize your physical, emotional, and psychological needs. Through structured exercises and discussions, you’ll learn to recognize what you need to thrive by enhancing self-awareness and self-acceptance.

State:

Gain a deeper understanding of your emotional and physiological states. Explore how your nervous system influences your reactions and learn techniques from polyvagal theory to manage stress and anxiety. Additionally, delve into evolutionary psychology to better understand your behaviors and motivations.

Choice:

Embrace the freedom and responsibility that come with making choices. Delve into existential themes like freedom and meaning, and learn to make decisions that align with your values and aspirations.

Engage:

Actively participate in your life and relationships. Through interactive activities and skill-building sessions, you’ll develop effective communication strategies and strengthen your connections with others.

Navigate:

Learn to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence. Our sessions provide insights and strategies to guide you through difficult situations, helping you stay grounded and focused.

Cultivate the perseverance needed to overcome obstacles. Through mindfulness practices, you’ll build the mental and emotional strength to stay committed to your goals and find contentment in your journey.
